CONSULTING SERVICES

Based on the client’s needs, inter-Tech Energy Progress, Inc. (iTEP) acquires information and literature, studies the contents, documents findings, draws conclusions and recommendations, and delivers a comprehensive final report. Previous projects include, for example:

FAST-RESPONSE OIL CONSUMPTION MEASUREMENT SYSTEM (FROCOM)

iTEP delivers a complete fast-response oil consumption measurement system and methodology including hardware with their proprietary concepts developed for accurate and reliable measurement of oil consumption in real time.  The measurement system is applicable to diesel, gasoline, and alternate-fueled engines.  The following lists some of the deliverable items:

  • Procurement of an SO2 detection unit customized according to iTEP's specifications.
  • On-site engineering assistance for set-up and optimization of the measurement system
  • Procurement of the qualified high sulfur oil in various grades
  • Consultation on measurement methodology

A proposal will be prepared and submitted to a client upon request.  Consultation of the measurement methodology is also available.  Reference literature: SAE Paper No. 902113, 920652, 922196, 961910.

iTEP delivered, installed, and optimized FROCOM to Volvo Car Corporation and continues their engineering support on oil consumption measurement methodology and characterization every year since 2006.

TECHNICAL TRANSLATION SERVICES

iTEP specializes translation of engine R&D literature written in Japanese into English. We provide:

  • Translation of a technical paper,
  • Consultation on technical content and paper structure,
  • Creation of a presentation material of a technical paper,
  • Word-by-word translation,
  • A review translation for the most critical information,
